Ha ha clever me I got the job - well I came as no surprise really I thought I was brilliant. I also heard Florence again just before the phone rang so I thought something good was coming.
I cant start the job until my credit & criminal checks come through which can take another 4 weeks, that put me on track to start a new job just as my egg collection is due and I need time off, typical! Never mind, we will see what happens, I still have 2 more jobs to apply for so we will see what happens with them.
Hubby is very pleased when I announce the news, he is very excited but I suspect he is more relieved to know that money will be coming in soon to finish the house. My friends are also pleased and full of congratulations (H even sent me chocolate) The only person who isnt thrilled about this job is me. Firstly I will have to talk on the phone again to the public (Joy) again it will be people who probably dont want to talk to me or listen to what I have to say and they will all be between 16-24 and have attitudes. The place of work is an open office environment situated above Iceland in a crummy 1970's cement shopping centre full of druggies and shoplifters. Also the job is in city centre (which I usually avoid like the plague) so parking will take up most of my daily wage and the rest will be spent in the shops at lunchtime, because you cant resist looking in H&M and, oops, those jeans just fell onto my legs and looked so great I just.......
Hopefully I will get other interviews soon but at east I know the dog days are definitely over!
