Just a quick update on progress of my easter eggs.
I went for another scan again this morning and finally I am ready for harvesting. The scan took a while as the girl was training and couldnt find, count or measure my eggs very quickly but she was the girl who was very gentle on my first scan so I wasnt complaining too much :)
Anyway I have lots of eggs around the 17mm size so they are happy at last. The surgeon popped in during my scan, in fact most of the staff seemed to pop in during the scan, luckily they cover your bits with a blanket, otherwise I would have been charging admission on the door!
I had to have blood taken again this time and ring in between 1.30 - 2pm for my times of final injection and egg collection so here goes - the big reveal.
Final injection of Pregnyl = 22.15 tonight
First tamazepan tablet = 22.00ish tomorrow night before bed
Arrive at clinic = 09.15 Friday morning
2 more tamazepan tablets to render me almost unconscious
1 big suppository for pain relief - gulp!
Egg collection = 10.15 Friday morning
Leave clinic for home = approx 12pm
sleep until late afternoon
So there you go, all set and ready to rumble!
I will let you know tomorrow if there are any side effects to the Pregnyl
